Abstract

This study aims to analyze the contribution of Subject Teacher Deliberation (MGMP) in improving teacher professionalism as part of Continuous Professional Development (PKB) at SMA Islam Terpadu Nurul Fajri Cikarang Barat. Using a descriptive qualitative approach, data were collected through in-depth interviews, participant observation, and documentation, and analyzed using the Miles and Huberman model. The results of the study indicate that MGMP plays a strategic role in strengthening teacher pedagogical and professional competence through collaborative activities, such as curriculum discussions, development of teaching tools, and training based on Technological Pedagogical Content Knowledge (TPACK). The success of MGMP implementation is also influenced by the support of a transformative principal and structured activity management. These findings indicate that MGMP can be an effective model in building a professional learning community that is responsive to the challenges of 21st century learning.
