This article explores the construction of ecological symbolism in the Qur'an using the Qur'anic semiotic approach. Climate crisis as a global challenge is analyzed in the context of Islamic spirituality by examining verses related to water, rain, and other natural phenomena. The semiotic approach is based on the theories of Ferdinand de Saussure, Charles S. Peirce, and Roland Barthes. Primary data are Qur'anic verses, while secondary data derive from contemporary tafsir. The results indicate that natural signs in the Qur'an are not merely physical phenomena but convey moral and spiritual messages relevant to today's ecological consciousness. This study enriches the interdisciplinary exegesis and contributes to the discourse of Islam and the environment.
