Abstract

The contemporary educational landscape demonstrates a clear inclination towards cognitive elements at the expense of nurturing students' spiritual convictions. This imbalance is intensified by the inconsistency in the religious fabric of society, which prioritizes ethical behavior while often overlooking the refinement of spiritual beliefs. Hence, Tashfiyah assumes an essential function in clarifying spiritual values within the home, community, and both formal and informal educational environments. This research seeks to evaluate the necessity of Tashfiyah, scrutinize its execution in educational contexts, and pinpoint the obstacles encountered. The method used for this research is qualitative, embracing a descriptive framework that includes interviews and observations. The results reveal that Tashfiyah is instrumental in enhancing students’ comprehension aligned with Islamic principles. Its application is integrated into various subjects such as Civic Education, Social Studies, History, and Science. Despite facing challenges related to instructional methods, disparities in comprehension levels, and family backgrounds. Tashfiyah fosters a beneficial impact, manifesting as improved critical thinking, religious insight, and attitudes that are more congruent with Islamic doctrines.
